First of all this is like going back in time. The conversion will depend on they type of EFI you have. If you have a multiport EFI system then you will need to remove the intake manifold and get a carb intake manifold, remove all of the extra sensors, remove the computer, remove the wiring harness. Then you have to purchase a wiring system for your application, purchase and jet a carb and bring your car to a good tuner to tune the vehicle.

Get an auto electrition to check your altinator it may need changing 3. If your car is EFI (Electronic Fuel Injected) change the coil pack, if not EFI change or recondition your distributor 4. Could be a sensor or a solinoide problem 5. If its EFI it could also be the ECU/ECM which means your computer for the car. hope this helps. its what i would do.

No, there is a force field around the car preventing any non-EFI engine from being installed. If you change the transmission as well, it will go alot smoother.

Why change to efi engine?

Efi stands for electrical fuel injection there are also dfi Direct fuel injection or Port Injection Electronic Fuel Injection, as opposed to a carburator. EFI is usually throttle-body injection, meaning the fuel and air mixture are injected into a venturi at the same time. The other type dfi wherein a squirt of fuel is injected directly into the cylinder. efi can give more power and Dfi even more power but also less pollution when driving in town and on a red light. its not the whole engine only the fuel injection method you can buy Efi conversion for any car for low money
