Let him break up with you... if this is the line he's feeding you, it obviously IS him and not you!!! Then go do something drastic with your hair, or buy a new (inexpensive - no man is worth going into debt for) outfit to make you feel better. Go out with your girls, start dating, have fun being by yourself. Until you are able to be alone and appreciate quality being a girl, you'll never get over him or any other loser that walks in and out of your life. Good luck!
