No. It's called peer pressure and it can be bad. For example, if your friends start smoking cigarettes they could try to pressure you on to smoking too.

JROTC and peer pressure have nothing in common. Peer pressure is when your friends/enemies try to make you do something that you don't really want to. JROTC is a program to get ready for the army

Not all peer pressure is negative. Positive peer pressure can encourage individuals to make healthy choices, try new things, or achieve their goals. It depends on the situation and the influence of the peers involved.
Try to make her understand that your trying to take it slow if she runs out upset then she's not the one for you
Peer influence is often helpful in an attempt to dissuade an individual from making bad decisions. Peer influence can be used against the individual in order to influence him/her into certain acts. Good situation: An individual wishes to try smoking, but if a number of peers dissuade against it, he/she could be persuaded not to smoke. Bad situation: A group of peers attempt to get an individual to try drugs, should the individual succumb to the pressure, that will no doubt end up being a regrettable experience.
Eating eggs is quite good for your health, however, it is best not to live on them. Smoking IS bad for you health and it is best to quit. Eating eggs will not make smoking any less bad for you. Try to quit smoking. :)
Try your hardest to fight it. And stay away from the person who is giving you the peer pressure.
