Replace either your inkjet cartridges, or your toner cartridge, depending on the type of printer you have.
Ink your thumbs and put them on a plain price of paper and your prints will show up :)
Ink doesn't wash out of paper. If you were to wash it out, the paper would end up falling apart.
you put ink on the bottom of the chromatography paper and dip one end of of it into water and leave it to stoke up the paper, separating the ink pigments

The block that has the ink on it. You put the ink on a carved surface of a block (it might not actually be carved, but it'll have grooves or bumps on it of some kind that make up the image) and then press the block onto the paper. That way, the ink on the bumps or in the grooves will end up on the paper, but not the rest - leaving a mirror copy of the image. Printing is fun, isn't it?
To fix your ballpoint pen ink problem, try to scribble on a piece of paper with some force. It will make the dried ink come loose. If it doesnt work, try running cold water on the tip of your pen, or rub it against rubber. If it still doesnt work, get a candle, light it up, put the tip of the pen near the fire for 1 or 2 seconds. Test it again.
Grills were a method of breaking up the paper fibers. This allowed the ink in the cancellations to soak into the paper and made it harder to 'wash' the ink off of them.
