Deep question. You may never know the answer to it. Do you think you are in love now? If so, take your time and get to know the person. When we first fall in love our body gives off a chemical much like eating chocolate. When this wears off after a few months you will see the person for who they really are. I once heard or read a truth about love that I think is right and that is we "decide to fall in love". I think there is something to this and when you think about it it makes sense. All things in life involve choice and love would too.

Sometimes people can go for many years and not really know how they feel about love. If you are very young it is common to feel that way. Some day down the road when you meet someone and really fall in love you will realize exactly how you feel about love. Until then, don't worry. Be happy. Enjoy your life.
