Cavy Depression
Guinea pigs can become depressed enough to the point where they would starve themselves if the owner doesnt force feed/water them.
If they are lonely(guinea pigs should be handled by you or a family member and they should have a guinea pig friend)
or something has changed(piggies are VERY picky, if you change the food dish they can get depressed).
If two piggies are together and something happens to one the other piggy with get depressed.
The best way to tell if he is sick or not is to take him to a certified small animals vet as soon as you can.
When a guinea pigs is jealous, it usually has a reason. Give him/her the same attention and love that you do to the other one. Also try giving it more love. when worst comes to worst, separate them- other wise one will die. :C I luv guinea pigs!

Guinea pigs do best when kept with another guinea pig.
Guinea pigs are social animals, and live in colonies in the wild. Domestic guinea pigs do best when living with at least one other guinea pig as a cage mate.
Guinea pigs get along best when both small pets are spayed or neutered. Have your guinea pigs altered before you introduce them to each other.
Before putting two strange guinea pigs together, let them get to know each other first. Start by keeping them in separate cages and placing the cages next to each other so they can see and smell each other. Leave the cages like this for a week or two until the guinea pigs seem comfortable with one another.
Next, let them come face to face in a guinea-pig proofed room or cage that is not familiar to either one of them. This neutral ground may help them from becoming territorial with each other. Once the two are getting along well in this situation, you can start keeping them together.
If you only have one guinea pig, spend a lot of time with your pet since you are its only source of companionship. That means you should hold your small pet and play with it every day.
If you have more than one guinea pig, be sure to spend individual time with each of your small pets to help them bond to you. Although they have each other for companionship, they will appreciate having a relationship with you as well. If they are bonded with you, they will be more comfortable being handled.
While it is impossible for us to know what a Guinea Pig feels, Guinea Pigs certainly are very social animals. A single Guinea Pig can display signs of loneliness (loss ofappetite, generally less active),particularlywhen the animal used to live in company.
For example, when one of a pair of Guinea Pigs dies, the surviving individual often appears lonely and depressed, to suffer from "a broken heart."
yes guinie pigs can get so jelous they will kill each other or die
Yes, if there is food available, they will eat until it is gone, just like goldfish. Guinea Pigs also don't like sharing food which could show their greediness.
