then you should go see a doctor
Two male rabbits may well pull fur off each other. No matter the sex of the rabbits, this is aggressive behaviour: fighting. (Females tend to pull fur off themselves for their nests, not other rabbits.) You should separate the rabbits because fighting can lead to serious injuries, as well as emotional trauma. Only rabbits that are bonded should be allowed together. See the related questions below for more info.
real fur is bad because they get it from animals!!!!!just to get the fur they break there necks and rip the fur off.....i was looking on you tube and to get it they keep them in little craites and stuff about 20 dogs in one!!!!its very sad...
ok, so dont hold me against this if i am wrong, but when cleaning anything like that off an animal, use dawn hand soap. it works, and its safe for the animals ^.^
I'm sure this has something to do with building a nest. My female rabbit used to pull most of her fur of her back to make a nest when she had phantom pregnancies. It may be that this is what your rabbit is doing.
Killing animals for their fur is called poaching. They shoot arrows, throw spears or they just get sword or knife and start stabbing And then they scrape their fur off its a bad thing
no f you do the colour will go and the fur will come off and they will look reallly bad
That fur is what she will line the nest with. She will give birth in about a week so have a good nesting box ready for her along with some hay or straw. Congratulations!
WillowArcane hereNormally, matted fur on rabbits is around the base of the tail, and can be caused by an animal that deficates/urinates and then sits down upon it, causing it to clump over time. This can also cause the anal passage to become blocked and make defication difficult, so it should immediately be taken to a vet so they can shave the effected fur off. If the matting is in another area of the body, it could possibly be a sign of an infected wound that has been hidden by the fur, and a vet should be consulted.xxxkAyxxx Herewell, i have a 3-4 month old lion head rabbit and she had matted fur at the bottom and all i did was shave and then cut it off my self i didnt go to the vet. But if u try this make sure u do it VERYcarefully because you might hert/cut her skin.Thank you XX
They feed them small rabbits and thrpw them off cliffs and see if they can fly. if they cant.. well to bad.
I've generally found that any wood is bad for bunnies, usually when fashioned into a makeshift bat the rabbit comes off worst. ;0)
It's probably caused by mites. Your rabbit will attempt to scratch the itchy mites off and end up hurting her ears. Take her to the vet for some medicine.
Pet rabbits shouldn't be in direct sunlight. It is not good for their eyes and body temperature. They SHOULD NOT be in hot climates because it will cook them. They have a fur coat all over themselves.Walk in their paws, imagine hearing a jacket that you can never take off in the desert.Pretty hot...
