If you are absolutely certain that you did not say it, stick by your guns. Your teacher is as human as you, and is just as capable of making a mistake.
However, at all times, be polite and show respect. Although you may not respect the person, you have no choice but to demonstrate respect to his position as a teacher.
If you remain vigilant, and keep trying to defend your position, it is possible your teacher may capitulate.
