A mother mouse can have up to 21 baby's at a time but not all baby's will live and those baby's born dead she will eat for protein. Now you know she is pregnant make sure her food bowl is always full and her water is also. When the baby's are 2 days old you will need to separate the male and place him into another cage as she will be able to get pregnant again soon, make sure to hold the mother regularly as she will get lonely and having baby's is stressful and she likes to have a couple minutes piece. The baby's will be eating solid foods from 4 weeks so can be separated from mum and mum reunited with her partner.
