The mystic key will open all the locked doors you may have run into during your travels up to this point. Of particular importance is a locked door in Castle Coneria behind which is the TNT. You will need to take this item to the Dwarf Cave in the north west corner of the Aldi Sea in order to proceed further in the game.
Before you had the key, there were locked doors all over the place (Coneria Castle, Marsh Cave, Northwest Castle, etc) that you can now open and collect the treasure hidden behind them. You don't need to use the key or anything, just walk right in as you normally would any door.

No.
That's an abbreviation for final fantasy 1 which is the first game of the final fantasy series.
After recieveing the "Mystic Key" from the Elvan Prince of Elfenheim after waking him up, go to Corneria Castle and use it on the room in the north eastern most of the castle. Take the dynamite to Nerrick. He can be found in the Dwarves Cave. Then BOOM! You can now sail out of the inland sea at last.
Final Fantasy 14 is another Final Fantasy. It isn't your normal FF like 1-10, 12, 13. It is more like 11, an online mmorpg
Dawn of Souls is the Final Fantasy 1 and 2 remake for GBA.
no but it may come out in the future. Just now however you can get it for the PS1 with Final Fantasy 1 under the title Final Fantasy Origins.
There is no rainbow stone in Final Fantasy 1. Perhaps you are thinking of the Rainbow Stone from Dragon Warrior 1.
Final Fantasy 1 wasn't rereleased on the PS2, it was however rereleased on the PS1, I'd suggest eBay or Amazon.
X without a doubt. I have played almost every FF game, and FF12 is one of my least favorites. Here's my personal ranking system: 1. Final Fantasy 7 (PSX, though I'm currently replaying on PS3 or PSP when on the move) 2. Final Fantasy 6 (SNES, originally released as 3, also played the PSX anthology version) 3. Final Fantasy 9 (PSX) 4. Final Fantasy 4 (SNES, originally 2. Also played the DS remake) 5. Crisis Core (PSP) 6. Final Fantasy 8 (PSX, will play the PS3/PSP port when finished with 7) 7. Final Fantasy 10 (PS2) 8. Final Fantasy 5 (played the PSX anthology version) 9. Final Fantasy 3 (played the DS remake) 10.Mystic Quest (SNES) 11. Final Fantasy 12 (PS2) 12. Final Fantasy 1 (NES) 13. Final Fantasy 11 (PC/PS2/XBOX360 14. Dirge of Cerberus (PS2) 15. Final Fantasy X-2 (PS2, horrible, horrible game) I think that's it...I haven't played any crystal chronicles or tactics games. Also, I never played FF2. I've downloaded The After Years to my Wii, but haven't gotten to it yet.
Final fantasy 1-6 were nintendo.7 and on are playstation.these are the original games only
'Dawn of Souls' is not a game as such, it is a compilation package containing updated versions of Final Fantasy 1 and 2. Technically therefore the 'non-remake' would be the original NES versions of Final Fantasy 1, and Final Fantasy 2, which were never bundled together in the same way before.
