before your dog goes into labor their temperature should drop down dramaticaly.
durng this process your dog would probably be digging up their bed and making noises.
after this stage you shouldput them in their puppy run or the place where the bith takes place.
your dog might be in labor now for hours or minuets but always spend that time with them or you wont know what to expect
now the next part may be tricky. your dog would think that she wants to go out to the toilet but don't let them because otherwise she will give birth utside instead. don't let that happen.
all you can do now is wait to find out when the first contraction starts. th contractons maybe minuets between each other but the closer they get together th closer she is about to give birth. all you can do now is when the first puppy comes out let her push it out by herself. after the puppy is out make sure that the mother h cleaned it offand take off the sack. if the mother is abandoning pup then you can help her a little and make sure the pup is breathing and crying. now the pup is breathing and crying putit under the heat lamp for 2 mins and then force it to suckle and make sure it drinks the mothers milk. the mother could have as many puppys as 14 depending on th breed of the dog.
now all the puppys are out you cant quite be sure on if the mother is finished giving birth or not but depending on the breed of dog you need to work out the average of pups. again now the pups are all out check again that they are all suckling (feeding) and crying out. when they fall asleep put them next to their mother or under th heat lamp wih their mother. the mother should stay with the pups at a times and keep the heat lamp on. the mother may get hot underneth the lamp and move up the other end of the run but that's ok just make surethat the pups are still underneath the lamp and are warm.
now this should be all you need to know and all set.

DO NOT leave the room and when she does start to deliver take the puppies and cut the umbilitical cord. and make sure your dog doesn't eat her placenta (she will try to, it could make her sick)
Letting the Dog eat the placenta help her to start her milk for the puppies.... Let her give birth & do what a Dog knows how to do. Stay back unless she needs you....
Call the dog hospital and ask for docter German Shepard or nurse chiwawa
That's not funny ._. FYI u spelled chihuahua wrong
At Home Way
What you should really do is give the mother dog a comfortable and private place with blankets. Also keep a bowl of Luke water so when the pup is delivered, you can wet the pup only a little bit to clean the blood off.
Not At Home way
Take your mother dog to the vet so the puppies can be delivered safely.
When a dog gives birth, it is called whelping.
A dog is a mammal and therefore gives birth to live young ones. A dog gives birth to multiple young ones at a time.
it gives birth
After the Dog gives birth and will be nursing pups, you should provide a diet rich in Protein, vitamins, and calcium. Talk to your Vet for particulars.
Right after it gives birth. ;)
hopefully alive
This would be impossible or a fictional story.
Can I give my dog a bath befor she hav her babes
I believe that would be the female. The hyena is a dog and female dogs give birth.
If it is the first time pig gives birth then you can expect 1 or 2 small piggies. Else, there would be 3 or 4 small piggies.
Only when the man gives birth.
There should be no green slime after a dog gives birth. It sounds like your dog has an infection. You need to take her to the vet for diagnosis and treatment.
