Plankton.
To feed a cherrystone clam to a green spotted puffer fish, you just give it the whole clam. Puffer fish are able to crack open the clam and eat what is inside.

I actually think you should put the clam back into the sea you got it or in a random sea where it can feed itself. Cheeseman56: Actually, you HAVE to put the clam back into the ocean it came from, not a random water source. This is because the clam could effect the food chain of the ocean/lake, and cause other creatures to die.

On the Beach, towards the lower left of the Beach right next to that clam store.
The liquefied clam is then absorbed into the stomach. They feed often, and their size depends on the amount of food they eat, not on their age
If it’s near your house put it in a bucket of water.
Many sea life's shells can be found at the beach. Which kinds depends on what beach someone is on. Clam, crab, horseshoe crabs, snails, and many more.
if you have a pet clam that you found on the beach or at a lake then popcorn is the only thing i can think of that you can feed it just make sure its not buttery popcorn can be as salty as you want just make sure it doesn't have butter not sure if you should feed it popped popcorn or the kernels so just try both but don't try them at the same time. Iwould think that you're supposed to feed them popped popcorn + will save you $$$ if you feed them popcorn because popcorn only cost like $5 at the most but if you want to spend almost $20 on clam food from a pet store or aquarium then go ahead
