as far as i am aware, nothing medical can cause an immediate bowel movement, short of an enema! There really isn't anything that will produce an immediate bowel movement and, if there were, you'd want to be careful with that. This is a natural process -- forcing it would certainly be dangerous and potentially damaging to the animal. There are training techniques you can emply to speed up the process. Command the dog to perform, and instantly reward the performance, for instance. In this case, negative reinforcement is utterly worthless, but by positively reinforcing this behavior on command, you can get positive, healthy results.

Bring in a small sample of your pet's feces too so the Vet can check it for internal parasites or signs of blood. Don't try to diagnose your dog yourself, take to your Vet. Make sure you are feeding your dog a good name dog food and not some cheap store brand food.
