A rock is a naturally formed mass of mineral matter, majorly consisting of parts of the Earth's crust and mantle.
Rocks are NOT living creatures themselves, although many organisms that live in, on or around rocks may make it appear as though the rock itself is alive , and has the ability to eat.
They don't have to eat anything! But they are YOUR pet, so you can decide what you want to feed it! I have one; her name is Chloe and she likes anything sweet! But remember a healthy rock is a happy rock! So make sure it gets plenty of fruits and veggies Also make sure they have a good home! You can make one by using a shoebox! If you want your rock to be just like you then name it (your name) Jr and make its house a collage of stuff you like! And remember, its a rock... They like EVERYTHING!!!

Hello, Zoe42 is right but I have a newborn named Gia (a pet rock). And I know that if they are the age 1 second to 12 months they they shouldn't eat. Or it could mess up their digestion in older ages or could be fatal. At the age of 6 months to 12 months she can drink liquids such as water, hot coco, milk, soups with out the mushrooms, onions, noodles, chicken, etc. So I am sorry for adding on and i would be okay if you delete my message.
