"Light year" is a distance. Specifically, it's the distance that
light travels through vacuum in one year.
The distance is approximately 5,878,291,000,000 miles.
Well, because we need to know the light year
Really have to know what year the car is because these problems vary from year to year.
I need to know the year and value of my light twelve gage semi auto shotgun.
By the serial number and guage
A light-year is not a measure of time, but of distance: 5.87 x 1012 miles. The distance light could travel in one year. ______________________________________________________________________ one revolution of planet earth: one year. the question this should be is: how long is a light year- that answer i do not know A light year is a unit of distance equal to 5,865,696,000,000 miles
"light-year"
The student minute light yearas is similar to the light year because they are both light years and measure stuff in space....sorry i know this really doesn't help, but I answered the question to the best of my ability! Kaitlyn
A light-year is a measure of distance that a photon of light will travel in one year .
Light is the fastest thing we know...nothing is faster than light. So the distance travelled by light in 'some' time will be the greatest. And as the distances between stars etc is huge, Light Years are used as it is the distance travelled by light in a year. And nothing can travel more distance in one year. So light years are used.
The distance light travels in a year is called light-year
A "light year" is the distance that light travels in one year. Light travels so fast that the speed of light is measured in miles per second or km per second. You probably already know how many seconds are in a minute (60), how many minutes are in an hour (60), how many hours are in a day (24), and how many days are in a year (365.24). So if you knew the speed of light, you could multiply all those numbers together and figure out how far light travels in a year. The speed of light is 186,000 miles per second or 300,00 kilometers per second.
Need to know what year, make and model vehicle you have.
