A Covalent Bond is one kind of Chemicals Bond in which tow atoms or more share one pair of electrons or more to reach the most stability state which is usually 8 electrons in the outer electron shell.

It means that two atoms are "pooling" their collection of electrons and that their combined energy is lower than what it would take to break them apart. Think of it like a hill that starts at sea level and goes up twenty feet, but the other side of the hill only goes down ten feet and the hill beside it goes up ten additional feet (to a total of twenty) before returning to sea level; in other words, picture a cowboy hat. You have to have a lot of energy to get up and you have to add a smaller amount of energy to return to where you were. If your surroundings don't have this energy or if you don't have enough left over, then you'll stay right where you are.

we mean

that the atoms of one element join with atoms of another to form counpounds, these subastances are very different from either of the elemnts that we use to form them.
