i presume by c language you mean catholic language, which is english.
therefore, the definition of swapping is to trade something for something else.
this usually involves goods such as eggs or bicycles.
e.g. my friend billy gave me a knife and i gave billy two spoons, therefore i "swapped" his knife for 2 spoons
