t do you file to recieve a stimulus check for a single person how much willit be
How do you determine if you get stimulated money
I don’t know what I need, so please advice me.
Tax return
You need to file by April 15th if you are due refund. However, you can ask for an extension.
If you are due a refund it is not necessary to file for an extension to file your income tax return. An extension of time to file your income tax return is NOT an extension of time to pay any amount of income tax that would be due April 15 2010.
There are penalties for failing to file that will need to be taken into account. You need to consult with a tax accountant in your area.
Contact your local property tax department and request a copy of the form that you will need to use to file for the property tax refund or you could try and see if this could be done online at the local property tax online website.
No you need to file anyway or depending on your city they will pentalize you for being late then have to pay a pentality for being late in filing

No, you don't need a 1099 for your tax refund because your refund isn't taxable.
No, the rebate check is an advance payment of a 2008 tax credit. The money is actually a portion of the refund or payment applied to the taxes you will file in 2009. Therefore as it is a refund check it is not taxable income.
You would need to file a 1099-g form, only if you have received a refund from the department in the previous year.

Status is irrelevant if you mean a tax refund, it's all a matter if you paid enough to need to file and if you overpaid anything on what you owe.

Do so at the first opportunity! Depending when you asked this question, and followed through. You actaully only get a refund for the past three years. So if you did not file your return by April 15, then you will receive your refund, if you were due one. However, whether you were entitled to a refund or not, you still need to file your return to prevent further interest/penalties accruing.

America does not need the stimulus plan.
Yes, if you overpaid your taxes. You would need to file a tax return. You have up to three years after the initial deadline to claim a refund. Th forms you file would depend if you are a resident alien (1040 forms) or non-resident alien (1040NR).
If the Chapter 13 Bankruptcy is still active you probably will need to turn over this to the Chapter 13 Trustee. At the least you need to ask the Trustee about the refund amount and if it must be submitted or not.
