Absolutly nothing! Nothing but determination that is. Nobody likes to school and their will be hard times with your child! They won't want to wake up or won't want to do the work, but if you get through those times you will find a lot of joy in homeschooling!
My mom homeschools me and she didn't get that great of an education. She was shy and didn't ask the teacher when she didn't understand, because of this she only went to 2 years of collage. Then left because it was to hard, my mom didn't have the base to learn collage level topics.
The great thing about homeschool is that their is no better way to learn other then to teach it yourself! My mom always wished she could go back and learn what she missed. Now she can and did.
All you will do is choose a program, we use Sonlight Corricilum. This is a Christian based schooling program, but their are others out their to. You will simply order books based on the grade level and sonlight will send you a schedule with what to do on what day! Then just sit your child down and read the books! All that's required is that you understand yourself what he's learning. If you understand it you can reword it, and help him to understand too.
When a child goes into 6th grade they will start to do some stuff on their own, and as time passes more and more will be put on them. This is actually a good thing because it is a great skill to be able to teach yourself! At about 9th grade they will be doing it all themselves. But you are still their teacher. If you go with sonlight they will send you a book of prewritten questions that you can ask your child that will alow you to check if he is doing it and learning it!
You will still need to do spelling with him and I recommend that you order "Teaching Text Books" for his Math. Teaching text books is a computer program that both shows it on the screen for visual learners and plays audio for audiable learners. The program also has the answers for questions on a CD with step by step explenations of how to do it. Meaning that if he gets it wrong, he can just play the CD and figure out why.
You don't need anything besides shear determination to teach you child. Because it all happened with me and all my brothers. We hated to get up and school, everyone does. And since we didn't need to get up for the bus, we usually didn't (the only bad thing about home school). For these times are mom needed to be a mom and a teacher, and get us up and going. It was hard but she succeeded. And I couldn't be happier to be a home schooled kid!
In most places, you simply become a parent. Most states and countries do not require teachers of homeschool to have any sort of degree or qualifications. By being a parent, you are entitled to educate your child at home if you wish to do so. Most states do require you to inform the school district or government that you will be homeschooling, and some require you to turn in transcripts or attendance records. For example, in my state, homeschoolers are required to register their children as "homeschooled" with the local school district each year. As soon as you turn in your form saying that your kid(s) are homeschooled, you are officially a homeschool teacher and are responsible for their education.
The requirements for someone to be home schooled are an eagerness to learn, hard work, discipline, time, flexibility, patience and dedication. Formal education is not a requirement but would come in handy.
The qualifications that are require dfor homeschooling is: the books that are required and a little three hour class that cost bout thirty buucks
Well, You just ned desks, schoolbooks and you need to be smart!
tell the teacher for more homework
Hmmh. Not if they don't have a licence
You don't hire homeschool teachers. If you are the parent of a child and you decide to homeschool them, it means that you are taking on the responsibility of being their teacher. Otherwise, it's a tutor. (I speak from my own personal knowledge - I'm a homeschooled kid.)
homeschool
Yes. Your parents can say that they are homeschooling and then hire a certified teacher to teach you. Parents who are also certified teachers may homeschool their own children as well. However, in most places this is not required and parents may teach their children without any degree or legal certification.
Ask your teacher and principal (aka mom and dad)! Some states and school districts have certain requirements when it comes to homeschool diplomas, but it is the parent's responsibility to provide you with what you need.
hala ka..lagot ka sa teacher mo,
No you do not. That's why they call it an online program.
Homeschooling laws are set by individual states. In some states a person other than a parent can be your homeschool "teacher". You can find these state laws at the Home School Legal Defense Association website.
No. Your parents are legally responsible for your education until you are 18. This means that if they say they are 'homeschooling' you, then they are required to provide you with a suitable teacher (either themselves or another adult) you cannot homeschool yourself, although you can follow a homeschool program or curriculum which was provided by your parents by yourself.
It's possible, if the parent/teacher has music experience. It would be a very small band though.
No. In most places the actual parent does not have to be the teacher, although the parent must approve of and provide the teacher, which may be a friend, family member, tutor, online program, etc.
