They are a very strong and powerful breed, dangerous if not properly socialized.
Too many people don't socialize them and so they get a bad rap and are commonly seen in shelter's. They are lovely dogs when socialised from an early age.
there is a huge diffarence between the German rottweiler and the English rottweiler and that is because, THE GERMAN ROTTWEILER is shorter but all muscles and they have a giant massave head, they are more trainable, loyal, smart, good around children, and protective. i would recomend getting a German rottweiler if you were thinking about it. they get 100 to 170 lbs. they are 26 to 30 inches for males and females are 23 to 28 inches. there is just so much more about the German rottweiler that is 100 times better then the American rottweiler.
i think you need to go to the diffrent parks, and if theres a germen sheperd, let them breed(i saw one once, but i think you need to breed, keep them alone for a long time they will have puppy unlock germen sheperd, iwant one too)i know how you feel
That shouldn't be happening that early, females need to be at least one year before they start having them.
A German Shepherd could pull a sled its strong enough to all you would need to do would be to train it and they are very smart
maybe because you WANT another one, or the one you have will not help you for what you want. for example, if you have a chihuahua, but suddenly you need a dog that will protect you, so you have to get another one, like a german sheperd, because, obviously, a CHIHUAHUA cannot protect you. i dont know.
They need 400g a day of complete dog food and its your choice whether you add meat or not but that amount should be split into two 200g portions morning and evening.
What do you need to know about German wirehair pointers? I own one.
In October 1918 the German Government were known as... This is what I need to know. :(
It depends on the individual puppy. Rottweilers and German Shepherds have some similar temperament characteristics, but also some strong differences. If you're thinking of getting one of the two, the German Shepherd will probably need more stimulation, while the Rottie will be calmer and more level.
German Shepherds can live commonly from 10-12 years. This is common if the dog is purebred. If it is not a purebred German Shepherd, then the dog may live shorter or longer. If you need more help, I would suggest purchasing The Dog Breed Bible by D. Caroline Colie, Ph. D. This book has helped me for years now.
Rottweiler's are very fast dogs. They have very strong legs and were bred to herd cattle. To stay with the cattle and heard them where they need to go, the have to be fast.
