You need to register an Assumed Business Name, get a business license, if you serve wine or alcohol you need a liqour license, you need a Tax Resale number so you can buy food products at wholesale prices and collect sales tax on the meals you serve. Before you open, you'll need to pay for a Health Department inspection. Most of the licenses can be acquired at your county court house.
