You and the inmate have to first write the superintendent of the jail and be approved and fill out paper work go in and get a marriage license which you pay for and your wedding is performed during a visit. You have to have birth certificates and social security cards... That's basically it they only go weddings like twice a year

You may be able to write to an inmate, with PO approval. However, you are not likely to be able to visit. Two reasons for this: first, your own parole conditions likely prohibit contact with other felons; and second, the facility is not likely to permit it.
Whether or not you can visit a friend in jail if you have a felony depends on the specific rules and regulations of the correctional facility. Some facilities may have restrictions on visits by individuals with felony convictions, while others may not have any specific limitations. It is best to contact the correctional facility directly to inquire about their visitation policies and any requirements for visitors with felony convictions.
The visitation schedule for La Vista Correctional Facility can be found at the Colorado Department of Corrections website. You will have to first fill out and mail a visiting application, which is also located at their website. Additionally, you can register and schedule your visit online at the Pueblo County Sheriff's website. Links for these websites are listed below.
