You should wait at least 2 to 3 days. When you wash your hair, you are rubbing and scratching your scalp. If you immediately put a relaxer in, your scalp will start burning.
because you are scratching ur scalp duhh.Or sometimes itz because u have dry skin so jjust put some lotion on it
when you get a relaxer u do not have to cut your hair. All you have to do is if you been scratching put grease or oil on your scalp. If you are ok you have to part your hair in very small sections and put the perm on their. When u done with that you have to comb or work the relaxer. to do this part your hair with the perm still on there and comb the new growth to make it straight. you do not have to cut your hair at all.
You'd have to read the instructions that's normally placed on the box for proper detail into placing it in your hair. If there are no instructions, you shouldn't place it in your hair as relaxers can be very damaging to the hair and scalp leaving severe burns and can even result in hair loss if not done properly.
The best you can do is when you shower make sure you scratch your scalp and put in the shampoo good. Or just maybe have someone to pick them out.
Yes. That's why you have to touch up the relaxer, ha.
I tells you in the instructions for whatever relaxer you have, but I would say everybody's hair is different. I have thick strong hair, and I put in a regular strength relaxer every 2 months.
yes
3-5 weeks
A reverse perm is a relaxer and yes you can but you cannot double process your whole head again else it will turn to a cotton candy like substance. You can only redo your roots or your new growth. Then before it is done processing on your roots you comb it through the rest in the last 10-15 minutes depending on what kind of relaxer you use and it will straighten it all back out. But you cannot do the whole head at the same time. To ensure you do not have bald spots or perma fry your scalp. Go to a professional to do the retouch relaxer. Relaxers are very potent to the skin and if you do it wrong you can burn your scalp. When it is applied you are not suppose to put it on your skin just close to it. When it processes it will expand to reach your roots fully without rubbing it all over your scalp. If your on a budget go to a beauty school and call around to check prices.
It really depends on how long you keep the relaxer on your head. For example,I left my relaxer on too long on some parts(mainly in the front) and when I went to go wash it,I didn't get those areas very good.My sister said that my hair had burnt and would develop what I call Relaxer Left-On-Too-Long Bumps.I made the mistake of scratching it and when I felt it,the top of my finger was dabbed in red.It will bleed,so avoid scratching it.You'll be fine, just wash your hair and don't scratch again.
Yes , but before you put the color in make sure you went through all the relaxer steps probably. Also it has to be done on wet hair.
