I only speak French and German (other than English), so here's what I know...
FRENCH:
my friend (male) = mon ami
my friend (female) = mon amie (my for feminine words is usually ma, but it's too hard to say ma amie, so they just say mon)
my friends (male/mixed) = mes amis
my friends (just girls) = mes amies
GERMAN:
my friend (male) = mein Freund
my friend (female) = meine Freundin
my friends (male/mixed) = meine Freunde
my friends (just girls) = meine Freundinnen
Hope that's not too confusing :)
