∙ 13y agoWell the key to a happy friendship is love, so when a friend is sad you can try to make them laugh. Try to make a joke, make funny faces, if its a girl bring her flowers, or chocolate, make them a card, or give them a big bear hug, but most importantly lend them a hand by listening to what they have to say.

∙ 10y agoTell her how all the people she hates (who are doing better than her) aren't really doing better than her. Don't remind her she is likely on her period or that anyone prettier, smarter, richer or better off in any way is really all that happier. Tell her even YOUR life is worse.
Give her chocolate. Tell her everything she wants--uh, well NEEDS to hear.
Wow, this is a tricky one. OK, uh... It all really depends on whatever mood she's in. How is she acting? If she's just down in the dumps... try to ask her what she's like to do, what she wants--nay, NEEDS more than anything. And whatever it is, try to do it WITH HER... holding her hand, your arm around her and assuring her the best the whole time. She may just need a sympathetic ear. Ask about what's upseting her. Ask her ALL about what's going on in her life.
Relate to her, tell her your own problems--especially if they're similar. Relate a similar experience to her. And try to let her know how many out there are stuck in the same cesspool. You may spend a lot of real precious time together and develop an especially powerful, spiritual bond.
Later on down the line, she may do the same for you if you're going through a similar ordeal.
