IF you have a good PT. just like drs, nurses, chiros, massage therapists, etc. there are the good, the bad, and the ugly when in comes to physical therapy. so if you dont find any relief with physical therapy try another physical therapist. dont just give up on PT because the 1st one wasnt any good. im a PT and ive seen some crappy ones and some great ones. just like your dr. you should find one that meets your needs. good luck!
