Polygamy has been around for a long time, there is nothing new about it.
All white men are different. Some white men practice polygamy and others think it is disgusting.
I think polygamy is illegal not only in the United States but most of country in the whole world. I also think Muslims were the only one who allow multiple wives.
No major religion condones or approves of cheating as it is generally considered unethical and goes against principles of honesty, integrity, and trust within relationships. Cheating is seen as a violation of moral values in religious teachings.
In some cultures, polygamy is the normal practice. Mormons used to practice polygamy. I don't think polygamy would be right for me. Tomas defended polygamy, as having multiple wives suited him. Polygamy is not an accepted practice in mainstream LDS. Polygamy is outlawed in most of the 50 states.

There several sources of conflict regarding polygamy. You could talk about the conflict among various religions over the issue of polygamy. You could talk about the social structure of the family and how conflict among the wives is handled. You could talk about personal internal conflicts about polygamy.
White settlers in the US came from Christian European countries where polygamy was illegal and considered immoral. Polygamy is frowned upon by most Christians, and it is not practiced in any free democratic country.
