What do you think scientists would do if they found evidenced that did not support the big bag theory?

Obviously, the same way they reacted when unambiguous evidence was presented that the Steady State Universe was not true, that neutrinoes had mass, that luminous matter was less than 25% of the mass in our Universe, and that the rate of expansion of our Universe was increasing. In all cases, the beliefs of the majority of scientists were shown to be false, and these false ideas were replaced by ideas that had the support of clear observational evidence.

At one point, evidence existed that white dwarf stars were older than 15 billion years old; which would place them older than the Universe. Better evidence of their age showed that they were instead about 12 billion years old.

Science doesn't suppress evidence contrary to accepted ideas. Indeed, it celebrates such contradictory ideas, hoping for a resolution.

Shame that you called it the Big Bag Theory...which made me smile ....but as it is just a theory, that few understand, I would say that whatever is

said proved or otherwise, would be difficult....It is something you either believe or don't...no one will ever really ever know. Easier to understand than the answer above, i think
