I use swapnote. Not exactly the same, but it is a free download that lets you exchange 3D or 2D notes with anyone on your friend list. Also on streetpass. however you to let your parents do a setup in order to do spotpass.
The 3DS does not support Pictochat cannot be downloaded onto the 3DS.
The face on the 3DS is not pictochat, as the 3DS does not support it. The face is the Friend List where you can register other player's 3DS via Friend Codes.
You can't, because Pictochat is not available for the 3DS.
Nope. The 3DS does not include Pictochat. But a way to communicate with friends is to use Swapnote, a free download from the Nintendo eShop.
no it does not
Because the 3DS has a different messaging system called Swapnote. You can download it for free from the Nintendo eShop. It allows you to message friends using SpotPass, or other users using StreetPass.
Yes, you can use Pictochat to chat from a Nintendo 3DS to other DS devices.
Currently, you can't get them. Nintendo is making new versions of both for the 3ds. The new Pictochat is going to be called Swapnote and will be available for free download in the store in December. The new Flipnote will be Flipnote Memo and will also be free for download in the store, but it's not announced when yet.
Nintendo didn't include PictoChat on the 3DS because the sequel to PictoChat, called SwapNote, is currently available on the eShop. You can swap messages through Spotpass, or Streetpass.
The Nintendo 3DS does not have PictoChat so you cannot chat with a person with a DS.
You can pictochat up to 65 feet away from one another. It goes this far on DS, DS Lite, and DSI. Not 3DS. Wich sucks. Ihave a 3DS and cant pictochat, but Can communicate with SWAPNOTE!
Yes, since both the Nintendo DS and DSi has the Pictochat application, you can connect these two systems together. However, the Nintendo 3DS does not have pictochat, so the 3DS will not be able to connect
