The rope is on the water wheel at the mill. To use the rope, go to the large crossbow on the outside of the castle. Tie one end to a big arrow and aim up and to the left. You should be able to hit the inaccessible door in the Princess tower of the castle. Walk up the tightrope to find the paper there, and then look under the bed at the Mordred museum.
You do not get or use a bucket on Astro Knights Island.

The gears in the mill on Astro Knights Island are locked by a small catch on the inside. Pulling on the attached rope unlocks the gears and then you can freely turn the windmill arms by jumping on them. (Turning them counterclockwise opens the roof dome where the hovercraft is stored. Adding manure will send it over to the mud swamp where you can use it.)
You have to jump to a high place and click on the balloon then you'll see map an there click an island you want to go to.
It goes to the mud swamp, which is the only place that you can use it.
The gold coin in Astro-knights is in the fountain. You will see something glittering in the water, and if you pick it up, it will be the coin. Use it to pay your admission to the Mordred museum.
The small key in Astro Knights Island is for Mordred's secret hideout. When you come to that wind mill area, move the hay bales apart and use the key on that.
