When you entered the corn maze and followed the trail of the popcorn and then saw paw prints on both the paths, I think you took a left turn, when you were supposed to go right. Go right and follow the paw prints (pick up the pieces of paper and combine them) till you come to a dead-end with a plank and the last piece of paper in front of you. Pick them up and go back (go in the direction of the flippers behind till you see a pile of popcorn). Now THIS time take the left turn and reach the river, use the wooden plank to cross it.
