A system of checks and balance prevents any one branch of government from having a lot of power. All three branches of the government are kept in balance with a checks and balance system in place.
In the U.S government some people think the executive branch has to much power
When a branch of the government checks on eachother to make sure one dose not have too much power. All must be equal.
So that no particular part of the government would have too much power. Each branch has a defined and limited role and the ability to check the power of the other branches. Separation of powers and checks and balances help keep government from becoming tyrannical.
Checks and balances of the government.
Checks and balances ensure that one branch cannot gain too much power. The legislative branch creates laws. The judicial branch interprets the meanings of the laws and determines if they are unconstitutional. The executive branch is responsible for enforcing the laws.
The checks and balances system is used to prevent one part of government from gaining too much power. This system breaks the government into three separate branches which all must work together.
Checks and Balances. This is where each branch of government is put in place and has an equal amount of powers so that no one branch becomes to powerful.
