In the 1700’s it was frontier and remote areas. They were busy with settling the east coast and the English government in 1763 passed a proclamation that the lands west were not to be settled trying to make peace with the Native Americans
the proclamation of 1763 was an imaginary line that went along the crest of the Appalachian mountains to show you were not allowed to settle west of the mountains.
Proclamation of 1763
The colonists transplanted English ideas of government to America by, they stood with a strong sense of English Political traditions. By doing that, they established a government.
The English colonists had the right to life, a right to liberty and a right to property. The colonists had all rights to live as men of the society. They had the right to live as Christians. They had the right to live as subjects of that place.
The colonists were furious. Because the English government began taxing items that were transported from Great Britain, the colonists refused to buy any products. Very soon, the English government had to stop the stamp act, or go bankrupt.

Both were settled solely by English colonists.
The Appalachian Mountains are the range that became a border in the Royal Proclamation of 1763. The Proclamation was issued by the English King and prohibited colonists from settling west of the Mountains.

The Appalachian Mountains provided a natural barrier to the western expansion of the English Colonies in America, or so some thought.
The British PROCLAMATION OF 1763 established that all British-controlled lands west of the Appalachian Mountains were reserved exclusively for Native Americans. British colonists were forbidden from settling those regions. This would stand against US Western expansion until 1783 when the Treaty of Paris ceded all British territories between the Mississippi and the Appalachian Mountains to the nascent United States, which immediately rescinded the Proclamation of 1763.

English lawmakers passed the Proclamation of 1763 to forbid further settlement west of the Appalachian Mountains. This was largely done to calm the fears of uneasy Native Americans who had opposed the colonists in the French and Indian War. Many colonists resented the proclamation and ignored it altogether. The Proclamation Act of 1763 was issued by the English Parliament to colonial America. It forbade the colonists from settling west of the Appalachian Mountain Range. It was caused by various conflicts and violence with the Indians, particularly Pontiac's Rebellion (1763-1766). It was largely ignored and the colonists continued to move west and displace the Indians
The trouble started because of the expansion west. However, the King of England (King George III) decreed that no colonists could settle west of the Appalachian Mountains. Lots of attacks and fights were caused mainly because of the colonies expanding west.
Well, the French originally wanted to trade, not colonize like the English in North America. While the English where settling colonists in new colonies, the French traded.
