What documents are needed to do court marriage in Nepal?

If marriage's between a Nepali ,

They must submit the following papers/certificates.

1 »» a certificate which proves that they're unmarried with photograph needed

to've signed by the government body.

2 »» Photocopies of their citizenships.

3 »» if s/he or both of them are from another location (i.e. their permanent

address/location is different from their current applying location for court

marriage) then s/he must submit a certificate claiming s/he have been staying at the following place from at least 15 days.

4 »» 8/8 sized photographs &

5 »» they must be legally aged for marriage (i.e. 18 for female and 21 for male)

And if it's between a Nepali & a foreign citizen or both foreign citizens,

Then they must submit the following papers/certificates.

1 »» a certificate proving s/he is unmarried with photograph signed by the

government body. (Needs to be submitted by the Nepali citizen)

2 »» Photocopies of their citizenships.

3 »» Photocopies of passport with Nepali visa which has not been expired (needs to be submitted by the foreign citizen)

4 »» No Objection Letter from the corresponding country or the embassy of the applying foreign citizen.

5 »» Passport sized photographs (10/10)

6 »» if s/he or both of are from another location (i.e. their permanent address/location is different from their current applying location for court

marriage) then s/he must submit a certificate claiming s/he have been staying at the following place from at least 15 days.

and for registering your marriage you've to go to the CDO office at babarmahal for the residents near kathmandu. You can go to the CDO near your resident as well.
