What does ''vov'' on a penny mean?

I'm not exactly positive but I do know that "Vov" is the sixth letter in the Hebrew alphabet so that may be something to do with it

More:If you're referring to a normal US Lincoln cent, it could be a coin that was overstamped with that letter as a keepsake or memento.

Alternately it could be a mis-hearing of the letters "V D B" which are the initials of Victor David Brenner who designed the original coin in 1909. There's more at the Related Question.
