Bruno Mars, until recently worked as a record producer as part of the production team the Smeezingtons. After an unsuccessful stint with Motown Records, Mars signed to Atlantic Records in 2009. He became recognized as a solo artist after co-writing and lending his vocals for the songs "Nothin' On You" by B.o.B., and "Billionaire" by Travie McCoy, and in October 2010 released his first album, "Do Wops and Hooligans". He now works as a singer/songwriter and is one of the most successful names in pop music at this time, being nominated for seven grammys and winning Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for his smash hit single "Just The Way You Are".
