COP in thermodynamics usually refers to the Coefficient Of Performance(sometimes CP) andis the ratio of the heating or cooling provided over the electrical energy consumed.
COPheating = |QH|/W = (|QC| + W)/W
COPcooling = |QC|/W
where
QC is the heat removed from the cold reservoir
QH is the heat supplied by the hot reservoir
The COP provides a measure of performance for heat pumps that is analogous to thermal efficiency for power cycles. In the case of a refrigerator, the cold reservoir is the air in the room around the refrigerator and the hot reservoir is the interior of the refrigerator - counterintuitive as that may sound. In the case of the refrigerator, the refrigerant is compressed such that it is hotter than the room, thus making it a source of heat. Part of the energy comes from the interior of the refrigerator (QC) and the rest from the work done by the compressor. When a heat pump is used to warm a building, the outside air is the hot reservoir - even though it may be colder than inside the building. Once again, the fluid used in the heat pump is compressed so that it can dump heat into the building and then when expanded outside, it is cold enough to absorb energy from the outside air.
what is heat a thermodynamic function
density, hardness, electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, melting point, boiling point, magnetic properties, Curie point, mechanical properties, thermodynamic properties, thermal expansion, etc.
The 3 thermodynamic properties are delta H, G, & S.
There are three laws of thermodynamics, not inlcluding the understood fourth law. Thermodynamics is the study of how energy is transferred in a system.
Thermodynamic equilibrium is when the inputs and outputs of a system is equal. This may be in terms of heat energy or in terms of liquid/gas flow.

Thermodynamic melting point is the temperature and pressure at which a solid will be in equilibrium with a liquid of the same composition. It is not a single point, rather it is a two-dimensional function of temperature and pressure. For most substances, the effect of pressure is rather gradual so that large changes in pressure are required to cause any significant changes in the melting point temperature.
The triple point refers the temperature and pressure at which the three phases of silver coexist in the thermodynamic equilibrium. The triple point of silver is 1233.95 degrees Celsius.

The letters in "cop" stand for "Constable on Patrol." It is a term used to refer to a police officer, especially in the United States.
Enthalpy is a thermodynamic property of a thermodynamic system.
