few tips on creating interest in your customers and generating business successfully.... 1) create a controversy in the message you create this may be in terms of positiveness surrounding your company and the policy and the factors surrounding it should be made in a darker shade. 2) create a shock and scare tactic ( earthquake, accident, fire, death etc) and build a point which revolves around your policy. 3) have a could or will care less about the competitors and their strategies follpwed in the market. 4) have a "Whats in store for your bulk consumers" in terms of discounts, quicker transactions and easy check disbursals which will have a positive image with you in the minds of the consumer. 5) show them what are the other alternatives and keep the best alternative to the last only after the customer has not liked any of the earlier plans go in for the big one (its like having a sumptuous dessert after bad dinner) :) customer will surely praise the dessert rather than criticizing the bad dinner.:) (your selling skills and convincing also counts here a lot). 6)lets be partners !!!!!!! follow this technique when you are selling to a hot lead don't be a salesman be a businessman and see that he gets the message of how he will benefit if he happens to purchase from you. 7) and lastly believe in yourself !!!!!!! don get disheartened when there are no customers or you are not selling well......it all depends on the way you approach the customer.:)

For the last few days I was following huge muti-national companies to know their approach for Megamarkeing in India. Mega Marketing means the marketing strategies that a Company undertakes widely for marketing its products globally/largely effectively to make profit. If we want to really discuss about the entry of multi nationals in India, we must track back to the time when Manmohan singh introduced something we call as Manmohanomics. I would say Manmohanomics was just the Indian version of Neoliberalism which was introduced way back in 1970's. From the time Manmohanomics was introduced in 1992, the foreign investment has raised from $1 billion to $289 billion. What was the interest of Multi nationals in India? 1/6 of total world population is in India. Ours is a liberal market compared to China. And we have a customer oriented financial structure (Thanks to Neoliberalism). Besides, the policy of the government towards FDI has also played a major role in attracting the multinational companies in India. This attracts those foreign investments. Previously I had published a post regarding C.K.Prahalad and one of his trend setter -- 'Fortune at the bottom of the pyramid'. There where the answer lies. There is a huge middle class population in India who wants luxury for minimal cost. A Mulinational company can easily provide this as 60% of our total population belongs to this class. As usual U.S companies is taking the major share of the business ( As large as 40%). We must take advantage of such a favorable economic condition. How we can utilize this to our benefit? I would say Mobile service, Insurance, Banking etc. are the sectors from which we have taken the maximum advantage. It is evident from the price tags. As we all know, all the companies have their lowest calling rates in India. Here is the place where we get maximum benefits for low premiums for an Insurance policy. What is making these sectors different from others? In all these sectors we can see a strong Indian company on hold. For example LIC is still having 70% of total Insurance turnover. SBI still holds more than 60% of total banking business. BSNL/Airtel holds more than 60% of total mobile service. Mr.Sreekumar Pillai, Vice President-TATA AIG, told once that they can't even think of a comparable position with LIC, at least for the next 10 years. As far as I am concerned this is what making the difference. An established Indian company in the run, is forcing the other companies to provide maximum benefits to make a share in the market. Still, because of strong economic policies of India, It is difficult for a foreign company to come and get established in Indian market. Coping up with the Indian rules and meanwhile making an establishment requires large investments for a foreign enterprise. This will directly benefit Indian economy and indirectly our living. This will force Indian tycoons also in the market to deliver more benefits to the customers. For this we need to encourage a significant position for at least one Indian company in each sector. We must take care not to eliminate an Indian participation in a consumer sector. This will lead complete takeover of a market by a multinational giant. Then they will decide the destiny of that business.
