∙ 10y agoYou can stiffen felt using spray starch. Lightly spray, do not over saturate and wait to dry. Repeat as needed. If you get your felt too wet with starch, the starch will flake off. Over time your piece will lose its stiffness depending on usage.
You can also try soaking your felt completely in a mixture of 50% water and 50% white school glue until felt is totally soaked then wring moisture out and place on a clothes line until dry. This method is more durable than the starch method but more time consuming.
