GRE is Graduate Record examination.GRE measures verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, and critical thinking and analytical writing skills. The GRE gauge undergraduate achievement in 8 specific fields of study.

For taking this exam students prepare in various ways. Such as GRE preparation classes and groups. There are online practice tests available offered by various sites. I have been using examville.com for my GRE preparations, I found the site very helpful for SAT exam practice.

There are three sections on the GRE. verbal Reasoning and quantitative reasoning scores are reported on a 130 to 170 score scale. The analytical writing score is reported on a 0 to 6 score scale.
