Jesus Christ is a man, NOT God. Therefore he has flesh. Is that clear to everyone. JESUS IS NOT GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
From a Christian standpoint, it means that Jesus was God become flesh, making 2 parts of the trinity, the third being the 'holy ghost'. There was a big to-do about all this in the early days of Christianity. The Roman Catholics insisted that Jesus was less human and more god-like; gnostics (means inner knowledge), insisted that he was more human and not so much god. This was bad for the Catholics, because they believe we need an intermediary between us and god, and gnostics believe we find god in ourselves and in all the world and universe around us. The Catholics have done pretty good for themselves, being an astoundingly wealthy institution. He made living things (people).
TO BE MADE IN GOD'S IMAGE MEANS THAT GOD IS VERY MUCH LIKE US. GOD HAS A BODY OF FLESH AND BONE.
He probally is god in flesh, who knows? no one on earth, is 200 yeears old to remember it.
God took on human flesh (was incarnated) in the person of Jesus Christ.
Pretty much. We worship one God, but God can be 3 things. God the Father, God the Son (or Jesus), and God the Holy Spirit. Want to find out more, read the Bible, God's Word.
It simply means that God's main Spokesman (the Word), became flesh; (was sent to earth and was born as a human being). There is no flesh in in the spirit realm; that's why it's called the 'spirit' realm. God is a spirit. Before the Universe existed, God existed. God is not a physical being; He is not confined by the physical laws of the Universe. God created the physical things from himself. 'In the beginning, God created heaven and earth.' But God of course existed before 'the beginning'.
Did God take on flesh, and if so, why
Ares is a god. He is the greek god of war. It is said in greek mythology that his throne on Olympus was made of human flesh.
In John 1:1- 2 the Bible says, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us..." According to this verse, God is the Word. Specifically, Jesus Christ is the Word of God since He is the one who "was made flesh and dwelt among us."
For God Your Soul... For Me Your Flesh was created in 1990.
flesh
It's the way God made us. Humans are not just spirit but also solid and physical.
I believe God created woman from flesh of man; because God is a man and a spirit; not a woman. I believe God created Man to be him, in the flesh.
