What does Inevitability mean?

If you say that an event is 'inevitable' it means it is going to happen and there's nothing you can do about it.

Dictionary definition: certain to happen. unavoidable.

As examples of use:

"It was inevitable that his careless driving would result in an accident."

"Her falling asleep during the day was inevitable after the long night she spent up soothing her sick baby."

"The soldiers in the POW knew execution is inevidable."

It means it will definitely happen.
