It is the warning light for the security system. The system does not recognize the key you're using. Try using a spare key and see if the light goes out.
I believe it has to do with factory alarm.(maybe disarmed ?)
It means that your car is not recognizing the immobilizer chip in your key.
it is for the key code immobilizer its built in
Sentry Key Immobiliser warning light, comes on if the key is not recognised by the vehicle, may need new skim key or skim module.
The security system warning light.... go to the pass door with the key and lock/unlock 3 or so times to clear. If no success, replace hood pin switch(5.00 part)
This is a security feature installed on cars where the engine becomes immobilized when the wrong key is inserted into the ignition too many times.
Fix the problem. It retests everytime you turn the key on.
A small round red circle is the antitheft/ chip key warning light.
When the key is in position 1, warning lamps light up so the bulbs and systems can be checked.
"Fault Indicator" It's equivelent to a "Check Engine" light on a car. Mine Turns on for a second when I turn my key to 'On' then disappears after a moment. I think a solid red light while riding indicates a mechanical issue.
