Actually the term "liturgy of the world" refers to Catholic theologian Karl Rahner's thought that our everyday lives are the worship we offer to God, and are the way God graces us. The worship of everyday life does not replace the liturgical rites of the Church, but rather helps to give context and meaning to the liturgy. As well, the liturgy gives context and meaning to the rest of our life.
