The Prophet Malachi said there would be a man who would save the entire world from their sins. Obviously, he was referring to Jesus Christ.
Several of the prophets told of the Messiah coming ,Isaiah told this 700 years earlier. even the prophet Malachi did prophesy about Jesus and his coming.
'Jesus is coming' is in Dutch 'Jezus komt eraan'.
Most people just say something like "Jesus is coming." But please read Matthew 24, where He says no one knows when He is coming, save His Father.
Malachi, the writer of the Old Testament book of the same name, wrote his book between 445 and 432 BC. People in that day did not live much longer than we do today. Malachi died several hundred years before Jesus was born.
The Bible does not say this, but most Christians presume it is so, because there were no Scriptures written for about 400 years after the book of Malachi and until the birth of Jesus Christ.
I would say The coming of Jesus Christ to earth.
I would say The coming of Jesus Christ to earth.
We can say that the first prophet to clearly mention the coming of Jesus is the major prophet Isaiah who said 700 years before the birth of Jesus christ. That Jesus would come to save the world of their sin.
I will assume you mean Malachi 3:1. This verse describes the coming of the Messiah, whose way would be prepared by a special messenger. This Messiah will surprise his people. The New Testament says this prophecy was fulfilled in John the Baptist as the forerunner (Matthew 11:10), and Jesus as the Messiah.
Absolutely not! The Church fully expects and is anxiously anticipating the return of Jesus.
Malachi 465 BC, Jesus was 0 to 33 AD, Hosea was 758 to725 BC
The question is not at all clear, if you are asking who were the prophets in the bible to prophecy about Jesus .Then it is Daniel, Samuel, Isaiah , Micah and Malachi.
