God is the creator of the world and everything in it including man. After the fall in the Garden of Eden all mankind were born spiritually dead. This means mankind does not relate to God. In fact The Bible tells us that the natural man is enmity toward God (We hate God). But about 2000 years ago Jesus Christ came down from heaven from God the Father and was born as a human being, the Babe born in Bethlehem to the Virgin Mary. Jesus came to earth to eventually die for our sins at 33 years of age. This He did on Calvary. He died, was buried, and was resurrected the third day.

Human beings worry about their life, what we shall eat?, what we shall drink?, what shall we wear? etc. This old world has and is becoming difficult to live in. Many people are starving, many have no place to live, their future is bleak.

But Jesus has told us that there is a remedy for this. "But seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

To the unbeliever is it an invitation to come to God, seek God and His righteousness and He will take care of you. The righteousness we receive is from Jesus Christ at the time of salvation.

If you want to be taken care of by a gracious God come to Him through Jesus Christ.

If you are a believer this scripture is a great comfort at times when you are down. Christians are no different then other people when it comes to hard times. Many are also with out food and drink and housing and clothes. But in reading this scripture we are reminded to remember our God and Savior and we will receive the things we need.

God wants the very best for His children, but sometimes we forget to praise, honor and glorify Him. We forget that if we come to Him He will help us abundantly.

We are all forgetful creatures. This is one of my favorite Scriptures and I have it in my memory. And do you know what? God does take take of me and others when we put our faith in Him.
