Ephesians 4:1 I urge you, then---I who am a prisoner because I serve the Lord: live a life that measures up to the standard God set when he called you. -- GNB

Ephesians 4:1 I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, -- NKJ

Calling, called speaks of God, in His grace, bringing people, through salvation, out of darkness into light, out of bondage into liberty, out of the world, into the fellowship of Christ.

To walk worthy of it, or suitable to it, is to walk as children of the light; to walk in the liberty wherewith Christ and his Spirit make people free, to walk by faith in Christ; and to walk in the ways of God, with Christ.

Walk refers to a holy life and conversation, good works.
