Rapid air movement

It is a type of engine that must have a lot of air forced into the intake to work.
The "Ram" in "ramjet" isn't an abbreviation, and doesn't stand for anything. It is called a "Ramjet" because the air is rammed into the engine.
Ram air increases the pressure and temperature of the air entering the jet engine, leading to increased engine performance. This effect is more prominent at higher speeds and altitudes where the air is more compressed and provides a greater oxygen supply for combustion.
jet engine
A true ram jet can only operate if it is pushed through the air fast enough to compress the incoming air, mix it with the fuel, ignite the fuel causing it to be pushed forward to repeat the process. Many ram jet designs will not work below 600 miles per hour or 1000 kmh
Gloucester Tornado, a British jet fighter plane developed in 1943-4 saw combat after D-Day in France.Jet engine designed by Sir Frank Whittle, first real jet engine after German V-1 ram jet. See reference to Whittle in "Answers". PCH=Gloster Meteor
In a 350 Ram Jet engine, when the number one cylinder fires, the distributor rotor is pointed towards the terminal for the number one cylinder in the distributor cap. This position ensures that the ignition spark is sent to the correct cylinder at the right moment in the firing order, allowing for optimal engine performance. Typically, this corresponds to the first cylinder on the front driver's side of the engine.
Frank Whittle was the invetor of the jet engine.
You can but a mini jet engine on ebay.
RAM is Random Access Memory
The Germans invented the first operational jet engine during WW2.
