Rome was corrupt becuase of the system with dictators. The bloodline system did not work becuase it didnt matter what your beliefs were if you were in the boodline you get the power. This created corruption which resulted in many deaths of leaders. The U.S has more checks and balances and is not corrupt though there have been issues with stocks and people taking advatage of it the U.S is not corrupt . This is why we are still the best in the world.
