Walter Pillay looks like his son Calder mostly with dark skin , black-brown cropped hair and expressive eyes. He is also thin like his son. He is shown a few times in the Wright 3 and Chasing Vermeer, but never in pictures. However, he plays a big role in The Calder Game, in which his son is kidnapped with an Alexander Calder Statue. There is an illustration of him knee deep in water on page 313
